Snorkeling. Experience the magical
marine life in Kauai. You’ll see varieties of
colorful fishes and corals all around the island.
There are many spots in Kauai that are excellent
for snorkeling. Anini Beach, Tunnels Beach and
Ke’e Beach are all great locations for snorkeling.
There are several professional guides around offering
snorkeling equipment rentals and tours as well.
Surfing. Kauai is one of the
top spots for surfers. It promises you excellent
surfing experience with world-class waves. Hanalei
Bay is famous for its surfing spot and is truly
a professional surfers paradise. For summer, Poipu
Beach is a superb surf location. The North Shore
and Kalihiwai Bay are best for surfing during
the winter months. Surfing lessons are also available
in the island.
Windsurfing. Anini Beach is
an ideal location if you’re into windsurfing.
Other well-known spots for windsurfing are Mahalapu,
near Shipwreck Beach for expert windsurfers and
other spots in Poipu for the beginners. Wind surfing
equipments are available for rental.
Land-based
Activities
Hiking. Hiking is another way
of exploring another side of Kauai Island. Hike
all your way to some popular waterfalls in the
island. Some interesting hiking destinations are
Secret falls, Kuilau Ridge Trail, Kuku’i Trail
and the Kalalau Trail. Be prepared to experience
the magnificent ocean and mountain scenery of
Kauai.
Horseback Riding. Horseback
riding is a great way to explore the backcountry
beauty of Kauai. Regardless of experienced or
first time riders, there are different trails
that suit your level of riding experience. Horseback
riding will take you to some spectacular views
of Kauai mountains, waterfalls, rainforests, native
wildlife and etc.

Activities
Helicopter Tours. For you
to see all of Kauai, going on a helicopter tour
is a must. Helicopter tour is one of the main
attractions in the island as 70-80 percent of
the island can only be seen from a bird’s eye
view. If you’ve never done the helicopter tour
last time, make sure to do it the next time when
you’re on a Kauai vacation. It will definitely
