Kauai Island has over 40 beaches with 143 miles
of coastline. Since there is abundance of beaches
in Kauai, it is always hard to choose the best
beach to visit while you’re on vacation at Kauai
Island. Each of these beaches offers different
facilities and the activities vary from one to
another. From rocky reefs to sparkling sands,
calm waters to first class waves, the diversity
of beaches in Kauai is a paradise to beach goers
of different interest. Beach activities range
from swimming, snorkeling, surfing, windsurfing,
kayaking, scuba diving and etc. However, each
of these activities may be suitable to certain
beaches only, depending on the condition around
the beach. Some are excellent for swimming and
snorkeling, while some areas can be quite dangerous
and are suitable for experts only. Regardless,
it is always important to take extra caution whenever
you go to the beach. Ensure to choose the right
place to play or else it can be quite dangerous
for you or your family, especially younger kids.
Most of the Kauai beaches are accessible publicly.
Though some are private areas, you’re free to
visit these places if you go along the public
walkways. |
